Beaches--There are three access points to the broad ribbon of beach which stretches between Wells and Ogunquit; Moody Beach, the Footbridge and Ogunquit Beach. The Footbridge is our favorite because you can take a short trolley ride directly from here to the Footbridge, then stroll over the scenic Ogunquit River onto the beach.

Shopping--Wells has a number of interesting shops offering antiques, rare books and other items. Neighboring Ogunquit and Kennebunkport are walking villages with dozens of boutiques and interesting shops, and dozens of factory outlet stores are located in other nearby coastal towns. Famous L.L. Bean in Freeport is within an hour.

Restaurants and Entertainment--This coastal area is famous for restaurants from casual to fine dining, and there are many to choose from. Attractions--York's Wild Kingdom, auto museums and a number of family attractions are minutes away. Minor league professional baseball and an amusement park are just 30 minutes away in Old Orchard Beach, or you can enjoy the Ogunquit Playhouse for an evening. Some natural attractions include the Marginal Way oceanside walk and whale watching cruises.
